When it comes to the Super Bowl, I am the girl who is all about commercials and FOOD! I love football as well, but I enjoy playing it more than watching it. Yup, I am sure some of you are questioning my American loyalty here! HA!
It is really hard to find appetizers for game days that I can eat, being dairy, gluten, sugar and soy free! I love eating my Buffalo Chicken Meatballs (click here to get that yummy recipe!) but, I miss my traditional family recipe of Chipped Beef Dip, that we often ate for game days and holidays when I was growing up. I decided to play around with the recipe a bit, and make it something I could still eat!
It is pretty rich and I absolutely still consider it a junk food, but it has none of the ingredients I cannot eat, so it is a total win! Traditionally served in a sourdough bread bowl, with chunks of bread cut-up to dip, I now eat it with Cassava Chips, and prefer the Siete Brand (purchase here) . Although, I miss my sourdough, I love this alternative! Let me know what you think!
